Who We Are

Everyone has a DNA that is built into them. Their DNA shows who they are and what they do in life. At Calvary Fellowship, we want to make it very clear that who we are and what we are called to do. The following four values run deep in everything that we seek to do as we serve our community and the world.

  • We worship

God not only desires our allegiance and worship, but He also calls us to worship Him. Hebrews 10:25 instructs us to hold true to our confession of faith and "not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together." All that we are and all that we do is motivated by the glory of God. Our worship begins with God, is given because of God, and is exclusively for God.

  • We Grow

We grow in biblical knowledge. At Calvary Fellowship, Sunday morning Bible studies provide practical teaching of God's Word. Midweek classes are also offered to encourage discipleship and fellowship. We want to be intentional about providing Biblical instruction that will produce spiritually mature believers. We are to grow in the grace and knowledge or our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

  • We serve

God has gifted everyone with spiritual gift (1 Corinthians 12:4), and we encourage everyone to identify this gift from God. Then, we want to see people moved into a ministry that allows this gift to be used for service. We want to demonstrate our love for Christ by using our gifts to bring glory to God and to reach people for Christ. We seek to serve in local, national, and global ministries.

  • We go

It is our desire to touch the world for the name of Jesus. All people matter to God, therefore, they also must matter to us. We know that all nations will be represented in heaven, and thus we believe our mission field begins here and extends throughout the globe. We are committed to telling all people the Gospel for them to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. 1 Peter 3:15 says, "Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks for a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear."
